Chalet Carmen price list
The chalet Carmen is primarily rented as a whole property for larger groups, school trips, ski courses, etc. for a week long stays starting every Saturday from 15:00 to Saturday until 10:00. We kindly ask guests to observe these times in order to be able to clean up whole property and prepare it for a new guests. In recent years, we have registered increased demand for renting of individual apartments, which (from season 2018/19) can be booked separately after agreement, but during the low season only. In low season, the cottage can be also rented just for a weekend or extended weekend stays.
The owners live all year round on the ground floor of the cottage with its own entrance and ensure the flawless operation of the building. If required by the guest they are ready to provide assistance but at the same time the owners fully respect the privacy of the guests.

- Holiday season(according to the calendar): Christmas Eve, New year Eve, Spring holidays, Easter week
- Check in: Unless agreed otherwise, the standard time for check in on day of arrival set between 3pm to 5pm.
- Check out: On the day of departure it is necessary to leave the cottage by 10 am at the latest. Arrival of new guests is possible after 3pm.

When renting the whole cottage the price is set for 19 persons (beds) including children, but the 100% capacity utilization of accommodation is not a condition. Each additional person over the capacity of the cottage 450 CZK/night.
In high season is allowed to book only a whole week's stay and in the low season is allow to book a stay for a minimum of two nights.

Apartments or rooms can be rented separately during low season only. Minimum stay must be 3 nights .
Triple and double rooms opposite to apartments do not have their own bathroom and kitchen, but they can be rented only as additional room to already ordered apartments.
For groups of at least 9 people, the price will be reduced to 350,- CZK ppn.

The highlight of the season is a week over New Year's Eve and Christmas. Only the whole cottage can be rented that week.

The prices include
- We are not VAT payers.
- Electricity consumption and water heating.
- All necessary bedding incl. bed linen.
The prices do not include
- Deposit 5.000,- CZK.
- Recreation fee to the village Mala Upa 1).
- Parking in winter (100,-CZK/car/night) 2).
Families with children
- Families with small children can use for free a baby cot, bedding, high chair or baby bathtub: 400,- CZK/Week
Recreation fee to the village Mala Upa 1)
- From 31.12.2019 adult person 20,-CZK/day
Recreation fee is an income from tourism to the municipal budget of Mala Upa village ie. this fee is not an extra income for cottage Carmen.
Parking 2)
- During the summer, the guests can park their cars directly by the cottage for free (up to 5 cars).
- During the winter the guests must park their cars in the parking space by the main road, approx. 100m from the cottage (100,- CZK/car/night).
